Use the sole as a guide to measure out, how long the second piece of the shoes must be.

There isn’t much rhyme or reason to this part. You just have to feel your way through and see how the template fits the best.

Use some tape to keep the template in place, when cutting it.

After this, sew the two pieces together.

Make a double stitch over the strap on the back of the shoes.

Use a punch tool for making holes in the front and on the strap, where the snaps will be placed.

Pull your leather lace through the holes and tie a knot.

Set the snaps by using a hammer.
